Lot 1 - Arable land at the base of Fovant Down
This is a single block of arable land amounting to some 104ha (258 acres) . Access can be obtained directly from Broad Chalke Road. These large open fields have Grade 2 quality soils and have been in continuous arable use.
Lot 2 - Elevated arable land on top of Fovant Down
Three gently sloping fields that sit immediately above pastures on the Fovant Downs escarpment with far-reaching views towards Fovant. Collectively, the land extends to 37 ha (92 acres) of which approximately 32.5 ha (80 acres) is croppable. The land is accessed via the Herepath byway that runs along the top of the Downs. The soils are Grade 3 and free draining.
