Situation - Cloggs Wood lies in a tranquil yet accessible location in Mid Devon, 3.5 miles to the south-east of Tiverton and between the small settlements of Ash Thomas and Brithem Bottom. The market town of Cullompton lies 3 miles to the south-east of the woodland, from where there is access to the M5 at Junction 28.
Description - Cloggs Wood is located on the brow of a hill and has fantastic views outwards over the surrounding rolling countryside. The wood totals 2.14 acres (0.87 hectares) and comprises mature oak, ash and larch trees with a varied understory including hazel and ground flora of bluebells, wild garlic and dogs mercury.
The wood has no near or neighbouring residential properties and there are no public or private rights of access through the wood. Its tranquil position has attracted bats and the occasional barn owl.
In the past, part of the wood was used for quarrying stone and a local legend is that it was subsequently planted by a wheelwright for his sons who then never followed their father into the business.
Wagons - There is a traditional timber wagon (caravan) and a fold-out wagon which are available to purchase by separate negotiation.
Access - There is direct access to the adjoining council maintained road, via two gates.
Services - There are no mains services connected to the woodland.

Directions - From junction 28 of the M5 motorway, proceed towards Cullompton and after passing The Weary Traveller pub, turn right at the roundabout towards Willand and Uffculme. At the following roundabout continue straight across and at the following roundabout turn right on the B3181.
Continue for a short distance and take the first turning left at Five Bridges towards Brithem Bottom and Ash Thomas. Continue for about 1.5 miles, passing through Brithem Bottom and continue up the hill towards Ash Thomas. Cloggs Wood will be on the left hand side, identified by a Stags For-Sale board.
