Access - The woodland has frontage on to the A3124 on its northern boundary. There is presently a pedestrian entrance into the wood, but no vehicular access. The present owner parks on the roadside verge adjacent to the stile into the wood.

Directions - From Winkleigh, proceed north on the A3124 for about 2 miles, passing across the former Winkleigh Airfield. The wood will be found on the left a short distance after passing Rangemoors.
